Your role:

Tracey is a Senior Business Development Manager responsible for the North of England. Building the business, guiding and supporting in the referral process and liaising with the wider teams both internal and external.

Before joining Gray Healthcare:

Almost seven years ago Tracey was given the opportunity to work for a supported living provider. At the time, Tracey had recently witnessed personal loss within her family, losing a close family member to suicide and another to early onset dementia.  Before stepping into this role, she had little insight into mental health, supported living, and the resources available.  Gaining understanding through research and engagement, she often reflects on how her family member’s story might have changed if such resources had been known and accessible.   Driven by her experiences, she is passionate about using her skills and knowledge to make sure others understand the help available to them.  In her free time, she enjoys family life and a good game of golf.

What do you like about working at Gray Healthcare?

‘I like that we are one team. Everybody listens, and if it is safe, we hardly ever say no. We deal with the most complex people, and no one should be kept in a hospital environment if they do not need to be. We believe that everyone needs a place to call home, their forever home and where we have the privilege of working. I love that we do not offer a one box fits all; we listen to the people we support and ensure they are in the area they want to live in with the support they need.’
