About Neil Berrington

Neil Berrington joined Gray Healthcare in 2018 as our Head of Clinical Practice and Governance before moving into a new role of Clinical Director in January 2022.

Prior to joining Gray Healthcare Neil worked for over 20 years with one of the largest third sector health and social care charities in the UK, Turning Point latterly as a Clinical Project Manager.

Neil has a strong operational background having begun his career within health and social care as a Team Leader and has been a Registered Mental Health Nurse since 2005. He has also worked within substance misuse services and held a variety of senior clinical leadership positions having managed nurse Led, Locked Rehabilitation and Community Support Services throughout his career.

Neil is proud to manage a clinical team who work tirelessly every day to effect positive change and make a difference to the lives of those we support. Enabling people to live meaningful lives within their respective communities and make choices that we on occasion take for granted is at the heart of Neil’s teams value base.

Neil is also our CQC Registered Manager and therefore ensures we are meeting and exceeding CQC requirements by keeping people safe, and ensuring we are effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.
