When did you start working for Gray Healthcare?

Your role:

Andy is a qualified accountant and responsible for the day-to-day management of the Finance Department.  This involves preparation of the annual budget, month end management reporting and ensuring control and integrity of the organisation’s financial information, processes and systems.

Before joining Gray Healthcare:

Andy graduated from university in 2005 with a degree in Sports Science and then immediately started working in the finance department of a law firm. He spent seven years in this role and worked his way up to Finance Manager, and he discovered that he had a knack for numbers and spreadsheets. Towards the end of his time there, he decided that Finance would be his chosen career and so he started his training to become a qualified accountant. For the next few years, he spent most of his evenings and weekends studying, until he qualified.  He has held a number of management positions in different industries, namely consumer goods, environmental consultancy, oil and gas and now healthcare.
