Gray Healthcare has published its 2023 Clinical Outcome Report, an annual report detailing the key areas where the Gray Healthcare team have demonstrated success in positive outcomes and progress for the people they support.

This year’s publication reports on two newly introduced evidence-based Clinical Outcome Measurement Tools: the Gray Healthcare Screening Tool and a Quality of Life Measure. The former focuses on the following functional skills: clinical, self-care, domestic, community, leisure, cognitive and communication and social skills. The Quality of Life Measure uses a simple scoring system to help the people we support rate their level of satisfaction with identified key areas that impact on their quality of life.

Some key highlights from this year’s report include:

  • 34% of the people we support need less support hours now with a trend emerging for this reduction occurring within the first two years of receiving support from the Gray Healthcare team.
  • 51% reduction in the number of incidents
  • 45% reduction in the number of package hours
